Steering Damper – Heavy Duty Type for the steering linkage assembly on Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.

This hydraulic damper is mounted between the front axle and chassis to absorb shock loads transmitted through the steering linkage, reducing steering wheel kickback and improving directional stability. The twin-tube design houses a large oil volume for thermal capacity, with low-pressure nitrogen foam cell, 50/50 valve damping from lock to lock, a 36mm piston, 54mm outer tube and 16mm shaft. Deep silver powder-coated finish.
