Description

Leaf Spring is the rear passenger-side leaf spring for long-wheelbase (LWB) chassis, of 8+2 leaf construction. Land Rover lists it as the left-hand (nearside) unit – the left side of the vehicle viewed facing forwards, whichever side the steering wheel is on. Its opposite number is 279678.

It forms part of the rear suspension, locating the rear axle and carrying the rear load while absorbing road shock. The leaf pack comprises eight main leaves supplemented by two additional leaves, giving the higher load capacity required by the long-wheelbase platform.
