Nyloc Nut with an M16 thread – a nylon-insert locking nut used on heavily loaded suspension and driveline fixings.

A nylon collar set into the top of the nut grips the bolt thread as the nut is tightened, resisting loosening under vibration without a separate locking washer. At this size it secures high-load joints such as the differential drive flange and the radius-arm-to-axle fixing.
