4-Pin Relay is a multi-purpose electromechanical switching relay used throughout the vehicle’s electrical system, where a low-current control signal energises the coil to switch a separate higher-current circuit on or off.

The four-terminal layout provides a single normally-open contact, with two coil terminals and two switched-load terminals, suiting general-purpose switching of loads such as lighting, horn, fuel-pump and cooling-fan circuits. Operates on the 12V system. Originally supplied in yellow and now supplied in black with a white stripe.
