Description

Blanking Plate – moulded plug that closes an unused switch aperture in the facia or switch console.

Where a vehicle is built without an optional switch, the empty rocker aperture is filled with this plate to give a flush finished surface and to keep dirt out of the switch housing behind it. It clips into a standard rocker-switch aperture and is removed the same way when a switch is later fitted.
