Description

Stop Light Switch mounts on the brake pedal bracket and controls the stop lamp circuit.

When the pedal is depressed the switch closes its contacts to illuminate the rear stop lamps. The same brake-applied signal is used by the cruise control, ABS and transmission control systems to release or modify their operation. The plunger-operated switch clips into the pedal box against a striker on the pedal arm.
