Description

Fuel Tank Filler Hose – moulded rubber hose connecting the filler neck to the fuel tank.

Carries fuel from the filler opening down into the tank and absorbs the relative movement between the body-mounted filler neck and the chassis-mounted tank. The hose is pre-moulded to its fitted bend so it follows the run without kinking.

A collapsed or distorted hose slows the fill rate and makes the pump nozzle cut out early, while a perished or split hose shows as a fuel smell and staining around the tank area.
