O-Ring seals the left-hand output of the Intermediate Reduction Drive (IRD) unit, part of the IRD casing and seal set.

It sits at the joint where the left-hand driveshaft stub enters the IRD casing, preventing oil leakage from the unit and maintaining the seal at the casing-to-output interface.
