Description

Tree Strap – 5 m x 80 mm – 12000 kg – winch anchor strap for the recovery equipment set. 5 m long, 80 mm wide, rated to 12,000 kg, with reinforced loops at both ends.

The strap is passed around a tree or other fixed anchor and the winch rope or shackle is attached to its end loops, establishing a secure anchor point for a winch pull. At 80 mm the webbing is wider than a standard recovery strap, spreading the load over a greater contact area so the bark is not ring-barked.

Intended as a static anchor strap only – it is not a snatch (kinetic) recovery strap and must not be used for a dynamic recovery. Finished in bright green so it is readily distinguished from kinetic straps in the same recovery kit.
