Description

Steering Damper mounts in the front steering linkage to absorb kickback and reduce shimmy transmitted from the front axle to the steering wheel.

The damper uses a 54mm big-bore twin-tube design with a 35mm internal bore piston and a 16mm double-chromed shaft. The twin-tube layout provides a larger oil volume for cooler operating temperatures and consistent protection of internal components. A low-pressure nitrogen foam cell further improves performance and response. Damping is set at 50/50 bump and rebound.
