Main Bearing Set for the Rover V8 engine, in the standard size. The main bearings are the crankshaft’s principal support bearings, sitting between the crankshaft main journals and the main bearing saddles and caps of the cylinder block.

They carry the crankshaft loads and maintain the running clearance and oil film at each main journal. This set provides the main bearing shells for one engine at standard journal size, for use with a crankshaft that remains at its original (unground) dimensions.
