Description

Timing Belt Kit with Tensioners for the 300 TDi 2.5L turbo diesel engine. The kit serves the timing belt drive – the toothed-belt system that synchronises crankshaft and camshaft rotation.

It is supplied as a matched set for a complete timing belt service, containing the timing belt together with the tensioner and idler pulley assemblies. Replacing these components together maintains correct belt guidance and tension across the drive. The kit uses the later, modified pulley arrangement and is therefore suitable for both early and late 300 TDi engines.

The camshaft and crankshaft should be locked with the appropriate timing tool during installation to preserve valve timing.
