Handbrake Shoe – V8 – LT95 is a brake shoe for the transmission-mounted parking brake used with the LT95 four-speed gearbox.

Rather than acting at the road wheels, this handbrake is a drum brake fitted at the transmission output. When the handbrake lever is applied, the shoes are forced outward against the inside of the drum, locking the driveline to hold the vehicle stationary. The friction lining wears with use and is renewed as a service item. This shoe is for the V8 / LT95 application.
