Description

Handbrake Adjuster for the rod-operated transmission parking brake mounted on the LT230 transfer box. On these vehicles the handbrake acts on a drum at the rear output of the transfer box rather than on the road wheels.

The adjuster sets the running clearance between the horizontally mounted brake shoes and the drum, taking up shoe wear to keep handbrake lever travel within specification. For use with the rod-operated linkage.
