Crankshaft Position Sensor for the BMW M51D25 2.5L 6-cylinder diesel engine management system.

Mounted at the crankcase, the sensor monitors crankshaft rotational position and speed, transmitting this signal to the engine control unit to determine fuel injection timing. A failed sensor typically causes difficult starting, misfiring or a no-start condition.
