Description

Brake Light Switch, hydraulic (pressure-operated) type, within the brake light circuit. It threads into the brake hydraulic system and has a metric thread.

The switch senses hydraulic pressure in the brake line. When the brake pedal is pressed and line pressure rises, the switch closes the electrical circuit to illuminate the brake lights; when the pedal is released and pressure drops, the switch opens and the lights go out.
