Description

Rear Handbrake Cable for the transmission (driveline) parking brake. It runs from the handbrake lever to the drum brake mounted at the rear of the transfer box, transmitting the mechanical pull that applies the brake shoes when the lever is set.

Applying the parking brake locks the transmission output to hold the vehicle stationary; releasing the lever returns the cable and frees the drum.
