This kit contains the slider pins and rubber dust boots for the rear brake calliper. The slider pins allow the calliper body to move axially as the brake pads wear, maintaining even pad-to-disc contact. Deteriorated boots allow moisture to reach the pins, leading to corrosion and calliper stiction; replacing the pins and boots restores correct sliding movement and prevents uneven pad wear.
