Description

Brake Disc – vented front brake disc, part of the front disc brake assembly.

The disc is mounted to the front hub and rotates with the road wheel; the caliper clamps its two friction faces to convert motion into braking force. Internal vanes between the friction surfaces channel airflow to dissipate heat, reducing brake fade under repeated or sustained braking. Specified for the non-armoured vehicle configuration.

Brake discs should be replaced as an axle pair to maintain balanced braking.
