Glass Fuse rated at 10A, a cartridge-type fuse used in the vehicle electrical system.

The fuse seats in the fuse box or an inline fuse holder and protects its circuit against overcurrent. When current exceeds the 10A rating the internal element melts and breaks the circuit, isolating the protected wiring and components. The glass body allows the element to be inspected visually to confirm whether the fuse has blown.
