Description

Piston for the 2.25L four-cylinder diesel engine, operating within the cylinder block as part of the piston and connecting-rod assembly.

The piston carries the compression and oil-control rings and connects to the small end of the connecting rod through the gudgeon pin, transmitting combustion pressure to the crankshaft. Supplied at standard bore size for an engine running on its nominal, un-rebored cylinder dimension.
