Description

Oil Seal – a radial oil seal fitted between the wheel hub and stub axle within the wheel hub and drive shaft assembly.

The seal retains lubricant in the wheel bearing hub while preventing ingress of water, dirt and road debris at the interface between the rotating hub and the fixed stub axle.

It locates in the hub assembly where the hub rotates on bearings mounted to the stub axle, sealing against the stub-axle journal to keep the bearing pack clean and lubricated.
