Description

Air Spring Rear for self-levelling rear suspension that uses pneumatic air springs in place of conventional coil springs.

Each air spring mounts between the rear axle and the chassis and forms the flexible pneumatic element that supports vehicle load. It inflates and deflates under control of the Self-Levelling Suspension (SLS) system to hold a consistent rear ride height as load varies. A failed air spring typically shows as a sagging rear end, a continuously running compressor, or loss of self-levelling.
