Suspension Arm Bush from the rear independent suspension, serving the lower and upper rear suspension arms at their knuckle location.
The bush is pressed into the eye of the suspension arm and forms the compliant pivot between the arm and the rear knuckle, allowing the arm to swing through suspension travel while isolating road noise and impact loads from the body.
As the rubber perishes the arm gains free play on its mounting. This typically shows up as a knock from the rear over uneven surfaces, vague or wandering rear-end tracking, and uneven wear across the rear tyres.
