O-Ring for a power steering pipe union.

The ring seals the connection where a power steering pipe joins the hydraulic circuit, containing the pressurised fluid at the joint and preventing leakage. It is renewed whenever the pipe union is disconnected, as the rubber seal hardens with age and heat and will weep if reused.
