Coolant Temperature Transmitter is the engine coolant temperature sender, threaded into the cylinder head where it reads the temperature of the coolant in the water jacket.

It converts coolant temperature into an electrical signal for the dashboard temperature gauge, letting the driver monitor engine running temperature. Fitted to 2.5L 4-cylinder applications.
