Coolant Temperature Sensor – screws into the thermostat housing as part of the engine cooling system.

It senses coolant temperature in the thermostat housing and supplies that signal to the vehicle’s temperature sensing circuit. Identified by its blue body, which distinguishes it from the other temperature switches used in the same position. Fitted to petrol and naturally aspirated diesel applications, including those with air conditioning.
