Description

Idler Pulley for the auxiliary belt drive of the 3.6L V8 TDV8 diesel engine.

The idler pulley guides and routes the auxiliary (serpentine) drive belt, maintaining the correct wrap angle around the driven accessory pulleys. It runs on a sealed bearing and turns freely with the belt.

A worn or seizing idler bearing causes noise, belt misalignment and accelerated belt wear, and can lead to belt failure if neglected.
