Description

Intercooler Hose for the charge-air (boost) circuit of the 2.7 TDV6 Lion diesel engine.

It forms part of the pressurised pipework between the turbochargers, the intercooler and the intake, carrying compressed charge air and sealing the joint at each clamped end. The hose is moulded to follow its run around adjacent engine-bay components.

A secure, leak-free joint here is essential to boost pressure; a split or perished hose causes a loss of charge pressure and reduced engine performance.
