Description

Intercooler Hose for the charge-air (boost) circuit, incorporating a provision for the charge-air sensor.

It conveys pressurised charge air through the intercooler pipework and carries the sensor that feeds intake air data to the engine management system. The hose must withstand boost pressure and under-bonnet heat; a split or perished hose causes a loss of boost, while a disturbed sensor mounting can trigger fuelling faults.

Specified for the 2.0L TD4 turbo diesel engine.
