Description

Intercooler Hose carrying charge air from the turbocharger to the intercooler pipework, part of the charge-air (boost) circuit.

It connects the turbocharger compressor outlet to the pipe feeding the intercooler, conveying hot pressurised air to be cooled before it enters the engine. The hose must withstand boost pressure and under-bonnet heat; a split, softened or leaking hose causes a loss of boost and reduced performance.

Specified for the 300 Tdi 2.5L turbo diesel engine.
