Description

Coolant Hose for the engine cooling circuit, running between the radiator and the fuel cooler. On the 2.5L five-cylinder turbo-diesel (Td5), surplus fuel returning to the tank is cooled by a coolant-fed fuel cooler; this hose carries coolant to that cooler so the temperature of the returning fuel is held within limits.

The moulded hose is shaped to route between its connection points and is secured by a clip at each end. A perished, swollen or split hose can weep coolant and lose the cooling feed to the fuel cooler. Renew with the cooling system drained.
