Expansion Tank for the engine cooling system, supplied as a complete assembly.

The expansion tank forms the pressurised reservoir of the cooling circuit, accommodating the thermal expansion of the coolant and maintaining system pressure through its integral filler cap. As the engine warms the coolant expands into the tank, and as it cools the coolant is drawn back into the circuit, keeping the system filled and free of air. Fitted to Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel applications.
