Description

Nyloc Nut with a 5/8″ UNF thread, used as a self-locking fastener in the suspension linkage.

The nylon insert deforms around the bolt thread on assembly, gripping it to resist loosening under vibration and repeated load reversal. This provides a secure, self-locking fixing without a separate lock washer. Applied as a bottom link securing nut.
