Description

Accelerator Pedal is the driver’s throttle input, mounted in the cab footwell against the bulkhead.

The pedal pivots on its bracket and operates the throttle cable, transmitting driver demand to the carburettor or injection pump linkage. It is used on petrol and 4-cylinder diesel applications, where the throttle is controlled mechanically by cable rather than electronically.
