Description

Gearbox Crossmember is a detachable structural member that bolts across the chassis side rails beneath the transmission.

It carries the rear gearbox and transfer box mounting, locating the gearbox tail within the ladder-frame chassis and transmitting drivetrain loads into the chassis rails. The crossmember is removable to allow the gearbox or transfer box to be lowered for service without disturbing the surrounding frame.
