Description

Rear Body Outrigger (Outer) – a chassis bracket that extends outboard from the main chassis rail to support and locate the rear body.

The outrigger carries a rear body mounting point and transfers load between the body and the chassis. As an exposed, welded-in bracket it is a common corrosion and stress point, and is frequently renewed during chassis repair.
