Description

Distributor Cap for the Freelander 1 ignition system.

The distributor cap fits over the distributor body and routes the high-voltage output from the ignition coil to each spark plug lead in firing-order sequence. The cap seats onto the distributor and is retained by spring clips; its internal terminals align with the rotating rotor arm, which transfers the charge to each terminal in turn.

Inspect at service intervals for cracking, tracking damage, or worn contacts and replace as required. For use with the 1.8L petrol engine.
