Description

Starter Motor for the 2.7L TDV6 diesel engine, part of the engine starting system.

The starter mounts to the bellhousing and drives its pinion into the flexplate ring gear to crank the engine. The integral solenoid engages the pinion and closes the high-current main contacts when the ignition is operated.
