Description

Fir Tree Fastener push-in fixing in grey, used to retain headlining, roof trim and similar interior and exterior trim panels.

The tapered fir-tree shank pushes into a pre-drilled hole, where its stacked flexible ribs grip against the panel to hold the trim in place without screws. It is also used to secure items such as the front wheelarch eyebrow and radiator grille. These fasteners are renewed when trim is removed, as the ribs deform on extraction and lose their grip.
