Description

Washer is a plain flat washer used as a general-purpose load-spreading fastening component, with a 6 mm internal diameter and a 15 mm outside diameter to suit M6 fixings.

It is fitted under a bolt head or nut to distribute the clamping load over a wider bearing area and protect the mounting surface. As a standard-size plain washer it is not tied to a single location and is used wherever this size of flat washer is required.
