Description

Temperature Sensor – Brown is the engine coolant temperature transducer for the 1.8L K-Series petrol engine.

It threads into the coolant rail and measures coolant temperature, supplying the signal to the engine ECU for fuelling and cooling-fan control while also driving the dashboard temperature gauge. The brown connector body distinguishes it from the separate cooling-fan temperature switch used on the same engine.

It connects to the wiring loom through two spade terminals.
