Description

Cylinder Head Gasket for the 4.4L V8 petrol M62 engine, sealing the joint between the cylinder head and the engine block across cylinders 5 to 8.

It seals the combustion chambers to maintain compression and isolates the coolant and oil galleries that pass between the head and block on that bank. This is the 1.74mm thickness grade; the M62 uses graded head gaskets selected to suit measured piston protrusion, so the correct thickness must be matched to the bank being rebuilt.
