Rear Crossmember, Heavy-Duty, pressed from 3mm steel and supplied with 200mm side extensions.

The rear crossmember closes the back of the chassis frame, tying the two side rails together and carrying the rear body mounts and towing fittings. This heavy-duty version uses 3mm steel – thicker than the standard pressing – for greater strength and corrosion life in structural chassis repair and restoration work. Sized for the pre-Td5 TDi chassis. Fitting requires cutting out the corroded crossmember and welding the replacement to the surviving rails.
