Alternator for the 2.7L TDV6 (Lion) turbo diesel, part of the engine charging system on the auxiliary belt drive.

Driven by the accessory drive belt from the crankshaft pulley, the alternator supplies charging current to the battery and feeds the vehicle electrical system through its integral voltage regulator.

This is the specification for vehicles built without Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) roll control; ACE-equipped vehicles take a separate alternator specification.
