Flywheel for the 2.4L TDCi (Puma) engine Clutch Assembly.

The flywheel bolts to the rear face of the crankshaft and serves as the primary friction surface for the clutch driven plate. It stores rotational energy to smooth combustion pulses and carries the starter ring gear around its outer circumference. During clutch replacement the flywheel friction surface should be inspected for scoring, heat discolouration, or cracking before refitting.
