Tailgate Aperture Seal for the rear body aperture sealing assembly.

Fitted around the perimeter of the tailgate body opening, this seal forms the primary compression interface between the vehicle body aperture flange and the closed tailgate panel. When the tailgate is shut, the seal compresses against the tail door skin, preventing water, dust, and air ingress into the loadspace area.

The seal is mounted to the body aperture flange and operates as the primary environmental barrier within the rear body sealing system, suited to the single-piece rear tailgate configuration.
