Description

Drive Belt Tensioner maintains correct tension on the auxiliary drive belt of the 2.4 and 2.2 TDCi engines.

The spring-loaded tensioner pulley bears against the accessory belt, taking up slack and damping vibration so the belt drives the alternator and other engine ancillaries reliably. It is best renewed together with the drive belt, or when tensioner bearing noise develops.
