Description

EGR Valve for the left-hand cylinder bank of the 3.6L V8 TDV8 diesel (Lion) engine, part of the exhaust gas recirculation system.

The valve meters a controlled flow of exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold back into the intake, lowering peak combustion temperatures to reduce oxides of nitrogen (NOx) in the exhaust. On this V8 each cylinder bank has its own EGR valve; this is the left-hand (LH) bank unit.
