Description

Glow Plug for the diesel cold-start pre-heating circuit. The plug threads into the cylinder head with its heating element projecting into the combustion chamber, raising in-cylinder temperature to ensure reliable ignition of the diesel charge during cold starting and warm-up.

One glow plug is fitted per cylinder and is energised by the engine control module through the glow plug relay for a controlled pre-heat and post-heat cycle. Supplied as a single plug.
